The
OCN Blizzard Junior "A" Hockey Club is committed to providing
the best opportunity possible for youth, in particular northern youth,
to develop their full potential as individuals through the medium
of playing Junior "A" Hockey and pursuing their educational
goals. We will give each individual every opportunity to pursue this
goal by committing outselves to providing the best we can offer in
terms of hockey and educational development. This will Include quality
coaching personnel, facilities, needs, program development, high school
and secondary education options. Nothing will be sacrificed in providing
our youth with this "quest for excellence".
Goals
We fully expect
our team members to buy in and achieve out hockey and educational
objectives. We want to develop and very solid franchise and we will
begin by committing outselves to quality young men who are willing
to accept the dual challenge of being a quality person and player.
-That all members
of our club are committed to achieving their educational goals whether
they be high school completion, College vocational or trade pursuits,
University entrance/programs.
-That members of our team obtain either a U.S. and/or Canadian scholarship
or make use of our OCN College Scholarship Fund.
-That our club continue to be one ofthe primer members of the Manitoba
Junior Hockey League.
-That we will provide experience above and beyond that the average
Junior "A" team can provide.
