2003-04 Schedule Released
The OCN Blizzard have released their 2003-04 schedule. The Blizzard will once again start the season at home against the Swan Valley Stampeders on September 19th and will head to Swan Valley the following night. The Blizzard's exhibition schedule is not yet finalized and will be released soon.

Evan Hammond Accepts Play By Play Job In Port Alberni
"Voice of the Blizzard" Evan Hammond has accepted a broadcasting position in Port Alberni, BC and will be providing play by play for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs of the BCHL for the 2003-04 season. The Blizzard would like to thank Evan for his hard work and dedication the past four seasons and wish him all the best in Port Alberni.

2nd Annual Hole-In-One Challenge Golf Tournament Set For June 18th
The OCN Blizzard and the The Pas Kinsmen Club will be holding the 2nd Annual 2003 Hole-In-One Challenge Golf Tournament June 18, 2003 at the Halcrow Lake Golf & Country Club.

Tootoo and MacIntyre Sign NHL Contracts
Congratulations goes out to Blizzard Alumni Jordin Tootoo and Steve MacIntyre who have signed NHL contracts.

Tootoo who was drafted by the Nashville Predators 98th overall in the 2001 NHL drafted signed a three year deal with the Predators while MacIntyre signed a professional contract with the New York Rangers.
