On Blizzard Alumni
The OCN Blizzard would like to
announce that goalie Marc-Andre Leclerc will be attending the
St. Louis Blues camp and that Forward Justin Williams and Defenseman
Justin Seaborg have signed with the Fort Worth Brahmas of the
Central Hockey League.

Blizzard
Aquire Daniel Mayer From Prince George
The
OCN Blizzard have aquired the playing rights of 19 year old Daniel
Mayer from the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL. This is
a portion of the transaction that saw Justin Tetrault move to
the Nanaimo Clippers. Mayer is a left winger who had 22 goals
and 29 assists for 51 points last season.

Blizzard with start the season against the Swan Valley Stampeders
here at the GLMC on September 17. Here's the remaining schdule:

Drafted By Phoenix
Congratulations to Russell Spence
who has become the second OCN Blizzard Alumni to be drafted by
an NHL team and the first player to be drafted following a season
with the Blizzard. Spence was drafted in the 9th round(280 overall)
by the Phoenix Coyotes.
